# Helpful Hints:

01 -
  • It transforms the classic Italian salad into something you can dip and enjoy with your hands
  • The combination of warm mozzarella and fresh basil creates an incredible aroma that fills your kitchen
  • Perfect for parties because everyone can grab and dip without needing utensils
02 -
  • Pat your tomato slices with paper towels before assembling to prevent soggy bread
  • Keep the heat at medium, not high, or the bread will burn before the cheese melts through
  • Letting the sandwiches rest for even one minute makes them easier to slice cleanly
03 -
  • Use a serrated knife in a gentle sawing motion to cut the sandwiches without squishing them
  • If cooking in batches, keep finished sandwiches warm in a 200 degree oven
  • Room temperature ingredients melt more evenly and prevent cold spots in the cheese
