# Steps:
01 - Sift the hojicha powder in a small bowl to remove any lumps and ensure smooth dissolution.
02 - Pour 1/2 cup of hot water at 175°F into the sifted hojicha powder and whisk vigorously with a bamboo whisk or regular whisk until fully dissolved and frothy.
03 - Heat 1 1/2 cups of milk in a saucepan over medium heat until steaming but not boiling, then froth using a milk frother or whisk until creamy and voluminous.
04 - Divide the brewed hojicha between two mugs and add sweetener if desired, stirring to combine.
05 - Gently pour the steamed milk into each mug while holding back the foam with a spoon, then top with a generous spoonful of milk foam.
06 - Serve immediately, optionally garnishing the top with a light sprinkle of hojicha powder.
